The same problem is still here even I made a package directly from svn (extra/mutter). But if I replaced /usr/lib/mutter-7/libmutter-clutter-7.so.0 with the one packaged in extra/mutter, the problem went away, even using mutter-performance.
What in the world? So the package maintainer's libmutter-clutter-7.so.0 is built without issue, while I was (we were) missing something?

If you are getting errors like
fatal: bad revision '73e8cf32'while building this package, refer to PKGBUILD and see which patches caused this. Then, go to the related URLs, replace the commit hashes. If there are conflicts, comment out the patches. Please notify me in comment section if this happens.
The optional performance patches are by default enabled.
