Hi, I'm the co-maintainer of the package.

Unfortunately, my laptop's gpu died a few days ago. So I cannot bring lots of changes to the package. The only thing I can do right now is upgrading the package along with mr1441 only.

Sorry for the situation and I hope you understand it. If you want to be a co-maintainer of this package, please contact fiestalake@disroot.org and/or the other maintainers. Thanks.

If you are getting errors like fatal: bad revision '73e8cf32' while building this package, refer to PKGBUILD and see which patches caused this. Then, go to the related URLs, replace the commit hashes. If there are conflicts, comment out the patches.

Please notify me in comment section if this happens.

The optional performance patches are by default enabled.

Ignore my previous comment. This is probably the correct fix: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/merge_requests/3185

Any chance the mutter-performance package could include the proposed fix from !3105 instead of reverting !2878?

The fix is Wayland-only, but it is better than reverting the code from !2878 that fixes another bug.

mr3080 is included in the latest gnome-44.

Thanks and Sorry for waiting.

Hey guys, any possibility to update package with mr3080 and bump to 44.3?

crab2313 commented on 2023-06-25 02:17 (UTC)

mr3080 should be added as the latest performance fix for gaming.

Do you have time to update it? Thank you for your work

mr3014 should be added, it fixes some bugs

RealOrRandom commented on 2023-06-02 07:18 (UTC)

Could we add this?

pick_mr 'focus-fix' 3ac82a58c51a5c8db6b49e89a1232f99c79644cc 'revert'

I had to put it first. Or at least it didn't apply after 1441 or 2941 (sorry, I can't remember which was the conflicting one).

It reverts a commit that introduced a regression that currently makes many users mad, see https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2690.

mr2941 is probably not ready, it's causing some bugs with fullscreen windows.
