Since OBS 30.0 has been released, I'll close the package.

The person who did the patch to enable AMF Encoding says that now the quality with FFMPEG has been fixed on AMD Cards (https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/pull/9179)

Since the MR in closed and the patch no longer maintained I would close this AUR package.

If someone wants to take maintenance of it, please let me know. IF not I will close this in a few days

This package is intended to try and give some feedback for the existing pull request enabling this functionality:

https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/pull/7206

Once this is merged and released as the official package this will be delelted

@daedalao I think it should be fixed now.

@alosarjos yes, jack support works with the regular package. It's also working with tytan652's build.

@daedalao Is it working with the regular obs-studio package?

daedalao commented on 2022-11-05 12:17 (UTC)

It might be my distro, but I cannot get pw-jack to activate when launching this. I use jack inputs for sane naming in qpwgraph, as well as isolating audio from my stream. Any suggestions would be helpful.

@IncredibleLaser Thanks a lot. Added nss (Which has nspr as dependency) to package dependecies

IncredibleLaser commented on 2022-09-03 14:23 (UTC) (edited on 2022-09-03 14:24 (UTC) by IncredibleLaser)

I think this needs additional dependencies included, otherwise it won't build. I first got warnings about missing libraries for cef and afterwards errors during linking. The libs are covered by nssand nspr.

For completeness:

/usr/bin/ld: warning: libnss3.so, needed by /build/obs-studio-amf/src/cef_binary_4638_linux64/Release/libcef.so, not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link)
/usr/bin/ld: warning: libnssutil3.so, needed by /build/obs-studio-amf/src/cef_binary_4638_linux64/Release/libcef.so, not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link)
/usr/bin/ld: warning: libsmime3.so, needed by /build/obs-studio-amf/src/cef_binary_4638_linux64/Release/libcef.so, not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link)
/usr/bin/ld: warning: libnspr4.so, needed by /build/obs-studio-amf/src/cef_binary_4638_linux64/Release/libcef.so, not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link)

(…complains about missing symbols…)

collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

It builds with the packages installed. nss should be enough since it depends on nspr.
