I am having a problem with Viber on launch. I have been getting this error when I start Viber from the terminal: qt.qml.typeregistration: Invalid QML element name "ViberAdsItem"; value type names should begin with a lo qt.dbus.integration: Could not connect "org.freedesktop.NetworkManager" to "stateChanged" qt.dbus.integration: Could not connect "org.freedesktop.NetworkManager" to "connectivityChanged" qt.dbus.integration: Could not connect "org.freedesktop.NetworkManager" to "deviceTypeChanged" qt.dbus.integration: Could not connect "org.freedesktop.NetworkManager" to "meteredChanged" Segmentation fault (core dumped)

To fix the icon in the taskbar, execute the following:

echo "StartupWMClass=com.viber.Viber" | sudo tee -a /usr/share/applications/viber.desktop

It could also be integrated into the PKGBUILD by default, @nslxndr

hello there dear arch users! I am having a problem where viber does not load emojis correctly and most of the time, it displays this error rectangle unicode which looks something like this ▯▯▯. Could anyone provide a solution? :))

It's strange that the developer isn't in a hurry to release new versions of the application as quickly as they do for Windows. The new version introduced folders, but there are no updates like that for Linux.

With the latest upgrade I lost the sound and ability to use the camera. I'm ok KDE, and I fixed it by installing phonon-qt6.
