Roken, I get a build error too, when it tries to build the CUDA kernels. Something about a 'nullprt' being undefined. I have not done any research into this though. If I have the time and find anything, I'll report back.

I'm guessing the problem is gcc 6.1.1. Apparently there's a patch, which hasn't made it to git yet.

I can't build, error at 96% CMakeFiles/Makefile2:1293: recipe for target 'intern/cycles/kernel/CMakeFiles/cycles_kernel_cuda.dir/all' failed make[1]: *** [intern/cycles/kernel/CMakeFiles/cycles_kernel_cuda.dir/all] Error 2 Any ideas?

Thanks stativ, you were right! Turned out I ran out of disk space so my system upgrade didn't finish.

planckstein: according to the lddtree libicudata is required by boost-libs (a dependency of blender). My guess is that your system is not fully upgraded and boost-libs still links to the old version of the library.

Hi there! This package built for me, but I got the following error when running it: blender: error while loading shared libraries: libicudata.so.55: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Does anyone know what I can do to fix this error? Thanks!

Awesome! Thanks for all the work you do. I will try it again shortly.

Thanks for reminding me. I made a patch to makepkg that allows blender-git to build: https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/pacman-dev/2015-January/019837.html

Still having the same problem as escentrix with the blender-addon.git folder as well. Has there been a solution yet?
