I can confirm what @smw wrote. I edited the PKGBUILD to create the libs dir. The next error was that the share folder is missing, from which some configs and .desktop files should be copied. I commented those lines to see if it installs anyway. It does. But in /opt/resolve there is no bin folder. The binaries simply do not exist. I can't get anywhere close to using this package.
I was able to install Davinci Resolve 17.1 successfully using the Blackmagic Design installer itself, so the problem is not on that side but in the package.

IMPORTANT!
Since version 19.1.3-2 this package will not download automatically the source file from the upstream site.
To build this package you will need to manually download the file from https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/family/davinci-resolve-and-fusion and place it in the same directory with the PKGBUILD.
This would reduce the mess in this package, making it more readable and clear. Also bypassing the required information from the upstream URL is not allowed in an automated way.
