I will not update (for now) to the latest version 7.3.6.9326 because it crashes continuously for me.

Thanks, unfortunate timing then.

For reference, with Gnome shell / wayland I need to

unset QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME
unset QT_QPA_PLATFORM

to avoid

Google Earth has caught signal 6.

The current version is 6.0.2.2074, build 3/10/2011. I could installed it by modyfing the PKGBUILD, md5sum for the new version is f700978030040502dcf3daa5bdf3d14 .

lib32-catalyst-utils actually is a optdepend, because not all the people have a ati card

<deleted-account> commented on 2011-03-28 10:22 (UTC)

lib32-catalyst-utils is needed install of lib32-libgl if someone's using the catalyst drivers. It would be nice to include this.

that's really bad, I feel I'm using windows 3.1 when GE is opened..

Madek commented on 2011-03-19 16:02 (UTC)

nop, this issue is because the different version of qt libs that GE uses i didn't know how resolve it

<deleted-account> commented on 2011-03-19 14:38 (UTC)

no solutions yet for the "look & feel" issue?

Ah ... alright. Aehm ;) Thanks, over and out.

Det commented on 2011-02-05 13:13 (UTC)

@Maxr, no (:D), they are _not_ required if you're on i686 Arch. That's what the "if [[ "$CARCH" == 'i686' ]]; then" check is there for. So you're either using a bad AUR tool or screwed up the PKGBUILD yourself.
