Thanks. I guess you should create another package for beta releases. Something like lightworks-beta. I just have a little problem, I can't run lightworks until I use root privilege. If I run it as a normal user, I get this message: /usr/bin/lightworks: line 35: 3170 Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped) /usr/lib/lightworks/spawn Am I the only one to get this? Is there something to do like adding the user to a group or make a chmod on a file?

Looks like there's a new beta. Will this package follow the beta releases or will we have another package for them?

I'm testing if it can be built with portaudio (que version you send the link). I will post results and maybe update the PKGBUILD today.

https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/portaudio/ provides and replaces portaudio_cpp.

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lightworks/ doesn't list portaudio_cpp dependency.

I'm getting a dep error: Dependency `portaudio_cpp' of `lwks' does not exist. Is that this package? https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lib32-portaudio_cpp/ Is this dependancy absolutely necessary?

CharlesAtum: - dependencies are fixed now, also added libtiff4 - permissions and lib location I will be testing tonight and releasing soon HalosGhost: - Upstream download fixed, thanks to carstene1ns, overwriting DLAGENTS was brilliant. 11.5-2 released.

Some small problems: You are creating a /usr/share/lightworks/{Preferences,Audio Mixes} folder instead of fixing the permissions of the existing folders You forgot to list libgsf and ffmpeg-compat as dependencies If possible you should move the lib folder inside /usr too because of the udev rules You shouldn't create the /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu folder unless there's no other way for it to work

Downloading source from upstream would be significantly preferable compared to a third-party location. This should be changed ASAP. All the best,
