The signature from http://www.fosshub.com/Universal-Media-Server.html matches the PKGBUILD sha256sum. Can you retry and re-download?

Checksum fails

@Mitch: For me, the link does seem to only download 58268b of the 71MB Package when wget-ing. PKGBUILD works with the sourceforge link: https://sourceforge.net/projects/unimediaserver/files/Official%20Releases/Linux/UMS-6.3.2-Java8.tgz/download

Indeed. I'm getting a 502 Bad Gateway error. You can download the file manual from http://www.fosshub.com/Universal-Media-Server.html/UMS-6.3.2-Java8.tgz. Sadly this link doesn't work in the PKGBUILD.

Looks to me as if the source link was down. -> Downloading 1464334809UMS-6.3.2-Java8.tgz... % Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 --:--:-- 0:01:00 --:--:-- 0 Warning: Transient problem: HTTP error Will retry in 3 seconds. 3 retries Warning: left. 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 --:--:-- 0:01:00 --:--:-- 0 Warning: Transient problem: HTTP error Will retry in 3 seconds. 2 retries Warning: left. 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 --:--:-- 0:01:00 --:--:-- 0 Warning: Transient problem: HTTP error Will retry in 3 seconds. 1 retries Warning: left. 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 --:--:-- 0:01:00 --:--:-- 0 curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 504 Gateway Time-out ==> ERROR: Failure while downloading http://app.oldfoss.com:81/download/Universal-Media-Server/1464334809UMS-6.3.2-Java8.tgz Aborting... ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build ums. ==> Restart building ums ? Now that TsMuxer is splitted into CLI and GUI version, its dependence has to be upgraded.

Thank you for information about tsmuxer-ng. I have added it as dependency and set java-runtime dependency to 8. The build script replaces now the provided binaries by UMS with distribution binaries. Also I upgraded the checksum from sha1 to sha256 and included a service for systemd. Usage: systemctl enable ums@username systemctl start ums@username (UMS will look for the UMS.conf in username's .config/UMS directory)

May I suggest to remove the ffmpeg, ffmpeg64, tsMuxeR and tsMuxeR-new files from the package. Those are binaries compiled and provided in the UMS git code. However, they will be used instead of any provided version by the distribution. So the provided ones may not offer the same optimization nor the same functionalities as the one packaged in AUR. There is a dependency on the ffmpeg package, the ffmpeg binaries shouldn't be used, packaged in and installed by UMS. About tsMuxeR and tsMuxeR-new, they can be provided by the tsmuxer-ng package. This should be set as a dependency (either as a dependency or an optional dependency) and the included files should be removed. This is the same thing done by the psm package.

Yeah the link was wrong at first. As I tried to get it installed myself I realized that the github releases seemingly aren't the same as the sourceforge ones. Sourceforge has 'installers' whereas you have to build it yourself with maven when you download it from github. Imho it's still worth it, as you don't know if the "installer" on sourceforge actually corresponds to the source code on github.

The download for Github should be: https://github.com/UniversalMediaServer/UniversalMediaServer/archive/$pkgver-Java8.tar.gz They still use sourceforge on their website's frontpage. But I will switch to new link with the next UMS update. Edit: Eisfreak7 already fixed the link :).
