@rilian: Full build log? Or which log do you mean?

rilian commented on 2019-12-31 01:04 (UTC)

Will look for it

Yeah, I haven't been able to get this to build for months. I disable all but Xfce modules and the package dies at the same point every time: Can not find package name : [==> Xfce applet enabled]. Not really sure what it's attempting to do here.

@bjo, full log, please

Your PKGBUILD seems broken, it says it builds the package for budgie, but it's empty:

vala-panel-appmenu-budgie-git /usr/
vala-panel-appmenu-budgie-git /usr/lib/

This package is building the budgie, mate, and vala appmenus along with the xfce one. Is this intended?

rilian commented on 2019-08-08 08:15 (UTC)

@nikatar, it is a Git package) it cannot be out of date)

@coltondrg, we should write bugreport to Arch repos, because it is strange (libpeas does not depend on g-i, but should). Okay, I will add it to Budgie variant, when I buy writing desk and chair for it)))

gobject-introspection should be added as a builddep, else the build will fail to find libpeas, the build will succeed, and the applet will not show up in Budgie
