I didn't modify the PKGBUILD, just installed it plainly with

jextrevor, it was always as make dependency, because you builds ALL applets from this PKGBUILD. Maybe you was modified a PKGBUILD to remove budgie?

Interestingly enough, I already had budgie-desktop installed. I reinstalled it just for good measure, but the build still fails.

Yeah, even when I uninstall xfce-git, and then try to update (or reinstall) common-git, it tries to build xfce-git first. I will just install budgie-desktop for now and then remove it to try to get the build to work.

rilian, I don't have that installed, was it recently added as a make dependency? Either way, when I try to install vala-panel-appmenu-common-git first,
yaydecides to install vala-panel-appmenu-xfce-git first anyway. The build fails at that step. I will try uninstalling vala-panel-appmenu-xfce-git, updating common-git, and reinstalling xfce-git.rilian commented on 2020-09-08 08:44 (UTC) (edited on 2020-09-08 08:44 (UTC) by rilian)
jextrevor , I updated PKGBUILD to meson already. You have budgie-desktop installed? It is a makedependency.
