@pathin Are you interested about maintaining https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/windsurf-next ?

For anyone who wants to always stay up-to-date, I created a secondary repo that keeps the PKGBUILD up to date and a little install script helper to install a while ago:

Repo:https://github.com/xPathin/windsurf-bin-arch

Execute the script via: curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/xPathin/windsurf-bin-arch/main/install_windsurf | bash

Needless to say, do not just run, check the script and PKGBUILD before running.

AUR/windsurf-next was orphaned by broken dependencies.

Added. No hard feelings. I just opened discussions as well so that all collaborators can chat there.

@watson I'm sorry for all the stress. I'm one of the people interested in having windsurf updated quickier tough, so I'm re-volunteering for co-maintaining the GitHub repo. I'm steccas on GitHub.

@pathin the 1.9.4 PR was made 13 hours ago. Give time for PRs to me merged and stop being so impatient. Stop flagging a package as out of date when it's been less than 24 hours. Some of us have lives.

In reference to your comment in the out of date message.

1.9.4 is out, maintainer refers to an automated workflow but has none, the process to merge and publish to AUR is manual.

A fully manual workflow would be a terrible idea, so yes, it requires review before merging the PR and triggering the build.

This package is being actively maintained by multiple people that do use it. Anyone who wants to help is free to check out the github repo and submit a PR, but the automated system usually keeps the package up to date within 24 hours of a release.

I would be willing to take ownership @watzon, @oech3 since I am actively using windsurf daily and can guarantee a more up to date experience in case windsurf gets updated again. In the past there have been days without an update.

@watzon Are you fine to move ownership of this to another people who actively use this?
