parmegv: It works fine here. You can try a newer checkout, it sometimes happen that some version from subversion cannot compile.

I am not able to install this package. This should now depend on python instead of python3. Does it really need python2 while building? If so, change the makedepend to python2.

Got it working. For some reason, I'm not entirely sure of, it wouldn't work until I deleted the binary from /usr/bin and instead symlinked to <<PKGBUILD DIRECTORY>>/src/install/linux2/blender .Now it runs fine. Go figure.
