I will not update (for now) to the latest version 7.3.6.9326 because it crashes continuously for me.

Thanks, unfortunate timing then.

For reference, with Gnome shell / wayland I need to

unset QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME
unset QT_QPA_PLATFORM

to avoid

Google Earth has caught signal 6.

To disable tips you don't need to be the fastest clicker in the whole whole west. Just edit the file $HOME/.config/Google/GoogleEarthPlus.conf. Under the [General] section write "enableTips=false".

I'm getting the following error: ==> ERROR: is not available for the 'x86_64' architecture. Note that many packages may need a line added to their PKGBUILD such as arch=('x86_64').

I made a big error some time ago when i posted the qt.conf.. please correct it because it refers to lib32 libs. here is the correct one [Paths] Documentation=/usr/share/doc Libraries=/usr/lib Plugins=/usr/lib/qt/plugins Translations=/usr/share/qt/translations with this GE starts without errors, but the old "white square instead of map controls" bug appears
