Thanks @drcouzelis, it worked. Hopefully the PKGBUILD will be updated soon.

@adam777: I was able to compile mpv-git by removing these two options: --disable-winsock2_h --disable-vstream

Added --enable-librtmp in ffmpeg's configure

Have you tried https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/mpv-build-git/ ? It depends on sdl2-hg, so maybe it uses it for something. mpv-git would at least need sdl as a dependency.

How the hell do I enable SDL video output? I tried adding --enable-sdl but that didn't work. :/

Thanks, jsteel.

Yes, it will only get updated here when it's resubmitted. You should track upstream and update when you like, or just from time to time.

I have a question regarding the package version. From my (limited) PKGBUILD and git knowledge, it seems that the package version is "number of commits.git hash". It works perfectly fine if I clone the git repository myself. At the moment I'm getting "35130.76f6df6", which is indeed the latest. If I manually try to update the package, I end up with the package "mpv-git 0.35130.76f6df6-1" on my system, as expected. The AUR, however, states version "0.35042.b5f07e8" which is wrong, and so my update monitor isn't prompting me to update. Does the package version in the AUR only gets updated when the maintainer manually triggers such update? Thanks, Adam.
