This package now enables Cmake Package mode proper. PCSX2 will here on, be installed in the package standard folders /usr/bin, /usr/share, /usr/lib. Following the XDG standard pcsx2's config files remain in .config/PCSX2

In order to ensure a proper and clean upgrade. Uninstall this package COMPLETELY and clear cache before reinstalling.

Warning: PCSX2 currently won't build with latest GCC version 4.8.0, and PCSX2 Dev Team is aware and working on that. So, for now, you'll need to downgrade the following packages: i686 users: gcc gcc-libs libtool x86_64 users: gcc-multilib gcc-libs-multilib lib32-gcc-libs libtool versions: gcc packages to 4.7.0-4 and libtool to 2.4.2-7 (look for these old packages in /var/cache/pacman/pkg) anyway, PKGBUILD updated to pacman 4.1

@alquez: Thanks, same problem I have. Probably pcsx2 is not adapted to gcc 4.8. I'm already in contact with the devels in order to solve this issue. And as soon as this issue is over, you submit the PKGBUILD adapted to pacman 4.1.

@Schala: Just for my curiosity, are you having problems in build this package? Case yes, can you please provide the build log (makepkg -L) in a pastebin site (e.g. pastie.org) ?

Needs to be updated for Pacman 4.1

ah, that is a wildcard for... haha just kidding. Clearly a terrible typo which I'll fix as soon as possible. That's for reporting this bug

i mean, lib32-"ligbl"? XD

rafaelff commented on 2013-02-27 11:17 (UTC)

lib32-libgl is a wildcard dependency for any package providing 32-bit libgl for Arch 64-bit. For example, lib32-mesa-libgl or lib32-nvidia-utils.. Depends on your hardware.

lib32-ligbl?

The last revisions were made in a development branch, instead of the trunk. This package is based in the trunk, so you are seeing just the difference between latest rev in trunk and latest rev at all. Nothing wrong in there
