as @bsdice correctly mentionend, the icu package in the core arch repos is on version 75: https://archlinux.org/packages/core/x86_64/icu/

so @no_gafam make always sure to first update your arch repo packages before updating your aur packages.

ungoogled-chromium-xdg-bin 125.0.6422.60-1 links to icu 75 package.

ICU proper is at 75, there is also icu74 package. I also made one, check qt5-webkit AUR comment.

Again a problem with newest ICU: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.75: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

but there is no icu75 in AUR yet! download this one instead: https://github.com/unicode-org/icu/releases/download/release-75-1/icu4c-75_1-Fedora_Linux36-x64.tgz

extract it and call chromium with env LD_LIBRARY_PATH=~/icu75/usr/local/lib/ /usr/bin/chromium fixed!

Are you sure that you updated your system, specifically ffmpeg? You can check your locally installed version with pacman -Qi ffmpeg. According to https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/ffmpeg/ the newest release is 2:6.0-3. The file list also contains usr/lib/libavcodec.so.60, the shared object file that seems to be missing on your system. Hope this helps.

Just updated to ungoogled-chromium-xdg-bin 111.0.5563.64-1,and this pops-up:

/usr/lib/chromium/chromium: error while loading shared libraries: libavcodec.so.60: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Updating ffmpeg broke libavcodec.so.59, libavformat.so.59 and libavutils.so.57. Linking to newer versions didn't work.

@aetherherne Thank you for mentioning this. I have now fixed this with commit #148d5c00963a

For anyone interested, the reason this happend was that when running makepkg with usual flags (either directly or through a aur helper program), it will skip the download of the new file if a file with the same name is already present, which is what happened here. To fix this, I changed to file path in the PKGBUILD to always include the $pkgrel variable so this won't happen again. I usually test my packages before bumping new versions, but it happens that I often clear my aur helper cache, so unfortunately this issue has gone under the radar until now.
