Building this package takes ~5 hours on a i7-4790k. I am hosting it (built in a clean chroot of course) on [repo-ck] if you would like to use it without spending all that time to compile as well. See the repo-ck wiki article for more.

@Muflone - from the ML:

chromedriver is NoExtract ed at pacman.conf from chromium package and hangout is dead. Widevine is disabled at config. pipewire is optdepends. No reason to duplicate.

If hangout is dead why is the official PKGBUILD still building with enable_hangout_services_extension=true?

Is there a link to show how one can disable widevine from a config? I did not see that this was possible with a few searches.

@graysky please read https://lists.archlinux.org/archives/list/aur-requests@lists.archlinux.org/thread/OMKO76D3FK7IC25PAV57ANWMUYA5PJHS/ and let me know if those reasons are meaningful or if this package has still extra reasons to exist

What are the benefits of not having hangout services, widevine, pipewire, chromedriver? Is there any performance gain for non-multimedia content?
