If you have issues with this package visit gitlab and read the readme first.

Is there any way to force the installation of a non-signed addon? I can’t use pentadactyl anymore :-/

But this patch makes no sense in this package, because the package is as the name says for KDE. And if one has global menu enabled in plasma, it is a fucking annoyance, because one can only see the top elements but cannot click them. The worst part is, if one hits a menu unintentionally, it sometimes stays highlighted. This patch just does not work in Plasma. At best the PKGBUILD would have a variable to toggle this patch, which is initially turned off. What DE do you use? If it is plasma then I please correct me and tell us how you did it get to work. :)

for what it's worth, I'm using the unity patch, please don't remove it

Is there a way to get this to build with llvm-svn (libLLVM-5.0-svn.so)? I get this error: libLLVM-4.0.so: cannot open shared object file

If you want a clean build please make shure to use a clean chroot to build. the issues here a mostly build issues that happen with the stock build too.

Has anyone else the problem that bookmarks are not shown anymore? Stock firefox works as expected. Nevertheless, firefox-kde-opensuse gave me a lot issues and trouble the last months/years so I am switching to stock.

mareex commented on 2017-06-18 12:02 (UTC)

yes, please remove that unity-menubar.patch. It does not work anyway in Plasma.

Why the switch from tarball to hg clone? Cloning the firefox repo takes *forever*...
