@uxaked I believe the best way is to use AUR helper that can handle wrong architecture automatically, such as pikaur.

is it possible to make aarch64 version of this package?

Okay, there was a misunderstanding on my side on what this patch fixes and it seems it does not help me with my problem.

Thank you very much anyways.

@OLStefan this patch is only relevant for group actions, i.e. key combinations like Ctrl+Shift etc. It won't work for single keys (like super key).

You are saying that Alt+Shift+Tab still "works" in mainstream Xorg after setting keyboard switching shortcut to Alt+Shift. It shouldn't work: either you don't really understand what this patch fixes, or you messed something up in your system.

I tried using 'setxkbmap -option grp:alt_shift_toggle' with both this package and the mainstream version, with both the Alt+Shift+Tab Shortcut did work.

I also restarted after installing each of the xorg-server packages I tried.

OLStefan, seems patch works only with Xorg keybindings, and Xfce keybindings work on another layer. Try to set keyboard switching to Alt + Shift (e.g. with setxkbmap -option grp:alt_shift_toggle). Alt + Shift + Tab shortcut should be broken now with mainstream Xorg and working with this package.

I have set a hotkey (for example open the Whisker-menu on press of the super key) via the Xfce keyboard settings.

I also wanted to set hotkeys for window tiling, like in Windows, so set super and left to tile the window to the left. But the problem is as soon as i hit the super key the whisker menu opens and prevents me from using the tiling hotkey.

I'd expect that with using this patch the Whisker hotkey would only kick if I release the super key without pressing other keys, so i can use other shortcuts using the super key as a modifier.

"I'm using Xfce4 and all hotkeys are still kicked on press." - can you describe what exactly you do and what do you expect?

Is there something to really do wrong when installing this?

All I did was download and build the package normally (without AUR helper), and then uninstall the normal xorg-server during installation of the bugfix due to the conflict. After that I restarted to make sure the bugfix xorg-server is loaded. Everything else is working as intended.

Any idea what I could do to get the bugfix working correctly?

@OLStefan it should just work. You are doing something wrong.
