Ok guys, I switched back to the initial fonts, so tahoma is removed for now. I'll give Jonhoo's suggestion another thought and will bring an update soon.

I have the same problem as Vieira, /usr/share/fonts/TTF/tahomabd.ttf is missing.

Hello, I'm having some problems (ugly fonts) on some websites (for e.g. www.sapo.pt) after updating from 2.0-5 to 2.0-6. I downgraded and everything looks nice again. Do you have any idea of which changes lead to this problem? Is it related to the removal of tahoma? Thanks in advance.

Well, I would probably split it into several packages; for instance: ttf-ms-fonts-core ttf-ms-fonts-common ttf-ms-fonts-extra Tahoma is a pretty common font, so I reckon that should be in core, but then the bold version also has to be in core to prevent ugly fonts as mentioned in the comment by Dogmeat.

Yes I saw that ... I followed sergej's advice a little bit too fast. That's why I asked you guys if you'd like to have all MS fonts in this package. Then I'll get tahoma from another source which also includes the bold version.

By the way, ttf-tahoma also contains tahomabd.ttf which this package doesn't. Without Tahoma Bold font some webpages look really ugly (blurry).

Ok, there's a thing I have to ask you guys, do you want this package here to be one which completely provides all MS fonts? If so, could you provide a list or a link to a list? I'd be happy to include way more fonts.

Oh, ok

could you please add conflicts=('ttf-tahoma')

I could add lucida console from ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/bussys/winnt/winnt-public/fixes/usa/NT40TSE/hotfixes-postSP3/Euro-fix/eurofixi.exe (file lucon.ttf in there) Does anybody know if that's ok? I have that link from winetricks.
