RN wc is broken, can you revert wc back to GNU?

Thanks for the reports, echo has been replaced by the C version.

@keren_sky, I can confirm that. This command fails:

/usr/bin/echo '"\n'CXXFLAGS=-g -O2 -I/usr/include/libpng16 -I/usr/include -I/usr/include/SDL -D_GNU_SOURCE=1 -D_REENTRANT'\n"'

It is working with the C coreutils echo, but not with uutils. I've created an issue for this bug on github. But for now it seems good to use the C version.

Hi, fim package from AUR fails to compile when coreutils-hybrid is installed. I haven't got the time right now to try compiling in a clean chroot. IIRC the output said something about 'echo'. Hope this helps

Thanks for reporting this! Tr is now also substituted by the C version.

I found out, that tr is the problem. When using the C-coreutils version of it, it is possible to execute ./configure again in this package. Also configure zimg-git is possible again.

This issue seems to describe the problem with tr.

Alright, so realpath is substituted by its GNU counterpart.

I can confirm configure failure. Even this packages is not working. After installing this, the ./configure comand of the original coreutils is failing.

Additionally, I found out, that the realpath does not support all arguments. Executing genfstab -U / fails, because realpath does not support the -L nor the -m parameter.

I have seen configure failures (involving gawk) on a couple of aur packages when this version of coreutils is installed. zimg-git & vo-amrwbenc IIRC. Cheers.
