I'm getting "Unable to find pthreads support." error. What should I do? Here the entire output: http://pastebin.com/i7r9mh4J

Fixed sdl2. As for waf: the author of waf disagrees with doing that, as he wants to reserve the right to do incompatible changes to waf. So we insist on using the one version of waf we develop for. In fact, filing a bug upstream that the build scripts don't work with ANOTHER version of waf will simply have no success.

RunningDroid commented on 2014-01-22 01:49 (UTC)

Please add --enable-sdl2 to the configure line, add waf to makedepends, remove "./bootstrap.py", and use the system's waf instead of the one fetched by bootstrap.py.

Fixed libcdio issue by bumping the version.

Nope, ffmpeg still works. VLC and mplayer also got updated today, they work fine, too.

rpolzer commented on 2014-01-19 20:04 (UTC)

Same error if you run ffmpeg from the command line? If yes, the issue is there.

January 19th update of libcdio (or libcdio-paranoia?) breaks mpv. "libcdio.so.14 can't be found." Symlinking the new library back doesn't work as a temponary fix.

Got the following while makepkg was in package() as the file isn't in $srcdir/$_gitname/etc: "install: cannot stat ‘etc/encoding-example-profiles.conf’: No such file or directory" Removing ",encoding-example-profiles" from line 71 fixes this.

ricardomv commented on 2013-12-28 22:16 (UTC)

please do not install ‘etc/encoding-example-profiles.conf’ manually it is now installed by default
