I adopted this package to keep it from falling off, but I haven't had the chance to update it yet.

I think only patches 40 and 60 still work. I'm not sure the other even need to be updated. I've been building with just 40 and 60.

I can confirm that I receive the same error on my machine.

Looking through the logs it detects x264 under h264 but I think it's expecting libx264 instead.

No, I deleted every file and folder with kdenlive in the name before opening kdenlive or kdenlive-git

Does moving / deleting the config file fix it like it does for those other people?

an error like this one https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?t=116213 it doesnt show me any error except in those 3 options i mentioned before. I also installed kdenlive-git as i thought maybe compiling kdenlive with my installed ffmpeg would solve this but still same errors.

the thing is h264 does work as i can process videos with ffmpeg -i 1.mp4 -vcodec libx264 11.mp4

Sorry I don't use it but what is the exact error that you are getting?

akrai commented on 2020-04-17 10:33 (UTC)

do any of you use kdenlive? i think since i use this package instead of the official ffmpeg one kdenlive shows me an unsupported error message over mp4 h264, mp4 h265 and mp3 processing options

@nathanielcwm, I agree. You convinced me. :-) I made my own "slim" package without avisynth, vapoursynth, deckhand, tensorflow and pocketsphinx. As I'm never likely to ever use them. Thanks for showing me to way to personal customization.

Then again since this is supposed to be the full package I think I'll leave tensorflow support in.
